How to go to buff island

the only way to go to bluff island is PRIVATE BOAT.

Bluff Island, also known as Sha Tong Hau Shan (沙塘口山), and known as Ung Kong (甕缸), is an island in Port Shelter, 

south of Sai Kung Peninsula of Hong Kong Together with Basalt Island And Wong Chau ,

 it’s forms the Ung Kong Group (甕缸群島)and is part of Hong Kong National Geopark.

 Bluff Island is also a diving hot spot. An increasing number of divers are coming here to explore the mysterious ocean.

 Private boat hire is required or join group. 

As there are many outlying islands in Sai Kung, 

it is a good idea to hire a boat at Sai Kung pier and sail around Jin Island (Tiu Chung Chau), Bluff Island, Basalt Island, Wang Chau and other islets. 

You can have a close look at the rugged primitive rock formations and spectacular rock cliffs that plunge deep into the sea.

 How TO Go BLuff ISland At sai kung pier there many groups going around by boat We went to bluff island in May 2020 in Group Fearless Hikers Group Hong Kong and Explore Hong Kong BMI Group There is 15 seater and 24 seater boat available In May 2020.

we payed 150HKD per head around trip Sai Kung To Bluff Island by boat is 30 minutes 9 am boat pick us from Sai Kung and From Bluff Island 5 pm boat pick us back for Sai Kung
